Disaster: Uber CEO's Mom Kicks The Bucket In Sculling Mischance


Uber CEO Travis Kalanick's folks were included in a sculling mischance on Friday that killed his mom and left his dad severely harmed.

The organization, in an announcement on Saturday, called the occurrence an "unspeakable disaster" and said that Kalanick's dad stays in a "genuine condition." Kalanick's mom, Bonnie, was 71.

"Our contemplations and petitions are with Travis and his family in this lamentable time," the Uber explanation peruses.

An email sent to Uber workers said that Kalanick's dad is being dealt with at a healing facility.

Kalanick's folks, who went on incessant drifting treks, were on Pine Flat Lake in Fresno County, California, when the mischance happened.

The Fresno County Sheriff's Office said in an announcement that an examination concerning the episode is in progress. An examination is gotten ready for Sunday.

"A preparatory report shows the pontoon struck a stone and the man and lady on the watercraft experienced wounds the impact," the sheriff's announcement said.
