Speak of a scary Halloween find.
Canadian authorities confiscated three pumpkins from a passenger's bag at the airport.
And boy were they jam-packed, they claim, with 2 kilograms ( 4 .4 pounds ) of cocaine .
Border bureau officers at the Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport discovered the pumpkins while searching the travel luggage of a lady traveler , as per a news release.
Her personal identity has not been made public.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police is carrying out inquiries. It would not answer CNN's request for supplementary information and facts Thursday.
Officers at the airport in Montreal have made 173 drug substance seizures to date this year, inclusive of ten for cocaine for an overall of 44 kilograms , in line with border services.
