Jordan Linn Graham made an early presence in courtroom Monday to tackle a charge of second-degree murder. If it happens that convicted, she looks life in prison.
Based on an offender complaint, Graham lately informed a very good friend she was developing second opinions with regards to marrying Cody L . Johnson. CNN associate KECI disclosed the pair had been married for merely more than a week.
The complaint stated the couple argued the evening of July 7. Angry , they agreed to go hiking in Glacier National Recreation area in Flathead County , Montana , where they carried on to fight.
Graham told the police force that her spouse seized her by the hand. She turned and pulled away.
"Graham explained she might well have simply walked away, however considering her rage, she pushed Johnson with both hands in the back and, he toppled face first off the cliff," the complaint read.
His body was uncovered 2-3 weeks afterwards.
Graham's legal adviser, Michael Donahoe, refused to discuss the lawsuit.
According to the complaint, Graham allegedly told someone she intended to discuss with Johnson concerning her concerns on July 7. The exact same day, Graham sent the close friend an SMS stating, "Oh well , I'm just about to have a discussion with him."
The friend answered, "I'll pray for you folks ."
Graham wrote back: "But really serious in the event u don't hear from me in any way again tonight, something occurred."
