The leader of a region in Mexico was killed by furnished men inside her home on Saturday - one day subsequent to taking office.
Gisela Mota Ocampo was sworn into office Friday to lead Temixco, a city of almost 100,000 individuals 60 miles south of Mexico City.
The assailants went into her home Saturday morning while her family was available and killed her in the entryway, said Alberto Capella, Morelos state security chief, at a press instructions.
Police sought after and traded gunfire with the furnished men, murdering two of them, he said. Two grown-ups and an adolescent were captured and will be arraigned, said Javier Perez Duron, Morelos lawyer general.
