"A shot implied for the bear struck a tree limb and diverted from the expected way and direction," Yukon Chief Coroner Kirsten Macdonald said in the report. "The bullet struck Ms. Huber in the mid-section, bringing about death."
That lethal shot was discharged by Matthias Liniger, Huber's spouse, as he endeavored to spare her life.
"It was at that point an excess of what happened there, what I saw, what I listened," Liniger told CBC. "What's more, now I need to some way or another get over that truth that a shot executed her."
